It's a 4 hour drive south from the capital Phnom Penh to Sihanoukville. Once in Sihanoukville take a boat to Bamboo Island which usually takes 25-30 minutes depending on how good your boat is. Once there, take your board on a 10 minute walk on the dirt track to a beach with a shipwreck or two, a few bungalows and a snack bar. Stay for a week, no point going for a day.
