About

One of the few secret spots left in the Eastern Suburbs. And definately one of the best.

Atmosphere:
Awesome wave, rarely surfed. More of a body board wave, but can be ridden by stand-ups on the higher tides.

Additional Info:
Rock platform. Wave doubles up and barrells. Only a short wave but so much fun. Sucky take off, but make it and you will spend time in the green room. Short but intense wave that dredges up on a rock shelf and produces a short sharp barrell in right conditions. Can be really heavy if bigger than 3ft. Breaks close to rocks but if you make the barrell, you end up in the channel for an easy paddle back out.

Access

By car to Diamond Bay (follow Diamond Bay Rd which passes by the Diamond Bay Bowls club) and walk down through Diamond Bay Reserve to the cliff board walk. Once you walk along the wooden boardwalk looking down along the cliff edge, you will see a stone arch (almost like a door arch). Down there past that point, there is a set of ladders leading down to the sea. Be careful climbing down.
