Take some time to speak with the locals and teach them surfing. They barely know what is surfing. It is normal to have 20 ppl watching you surfing... :-)

Access

From Fuzhou, get the northern highway and take Xiapu exit. Then drive for 40 minutes on south and turn left at a big banyan tree which is a bus stop as well (near a huge rock on a big mountain)... I surf there regularly and got some nice sessions... Always empty obviously!
