fun wave. decent size for japan, but only when a typhoon swell arrives.
Atmosphere:
beautiful part of japan. very natural, with most modern conveniences, but still very traditional. friendly, but conservative and reserved, locals. very few foreigners. speaking japanese will help a lot. a few other good spots in the area during typhoon season.
