Lavanono
Edit SpotAbout
I've travelled a lot. This place is the most memorable. The waves are good but the experience is better.
Atmosphere:
Super isolated Malagasy village. Incredible coastal desert with spiny forest. Epic trip. Stay two weeks to guarantee waves.
Additional Info:
The bigger the better. An epic wave at double overhead. Winds are typically side-shore, good for windsurfers.

Go to Ft. Dauphin or Tulear and look for a guide. Ask them to take you to Lavanono. You will need to rent a 4X4 and drive for at least 8 hours if the roads are good. There are accomodations when you get there.
