Le Penon
Edit SpotAbout
...cool!
Atmosphere:
A buzzing holiday town in summer, it quickly descends into an eerie but peaceful ghost town in autumn and winter.
Additional Info:
Park the car in the car-park behind the dunes next to the road. Walk over the dunes and you are there. To the south there is a big collapsed jetty which shapes lefts breaking off it. There is also a small wooden jetty that sometimes creates worthwhile sandbars.

A beautiful beach stretching for miles in either direction. The waves here are fun and powerful although a crazily strong rip can marr the experience. There are some classy locals here but given respect they are more than happy to surf alongside you.
