The beach is called Long beach...its north of Good Harbor beach. Its southern end is in Gloucester, but it is mostly in Rockport. During the summer, surfing is allowed during the day on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, but the rest of the week, you can only surf before or after the lifguards leave (they are on-duty 10 AM to 4:30 PM). Parking is provided by private lots and price varies.
