Nathans Slab

Edit Spot
About

Great spot to avoid the crowded beaches of Perth

Atmosphere:
Go left if you want a sick barrel but be prepared to suffer a serious neck injury as it breaks on less than 30cm of water, also as soon as you come out the barrel the wave collapse onto dry reef, the right holds up better but does not barrel as well. Don't surf this slab unless your prepared to break a few boards in the process leave it to us esky lid riders.

Additional Info:
Park your car at the carpark just before the roundabout and walk a couple of minuets south toward the ocean reef marina. When you find the break jump the fence and go down to the rocks, you will see a small slab of reef and then a little sand channel. Use this to enter and exit the water

Take off deep and prey you make it out, if you get stuck in the barrel and know your not coming out the hold on to your board and hope for the best. This slab is really shallow and it is not common to get a few cuts and scrapes.
