i think that this spot is alright if you are bored of riding packed perth beaches.pity it cant hold more swell or this place would absolutly fire!!!!!if you come here dont come in to big groups because the A frame peak means you bachdoor both ways so it is limited to one good ride per wave.nice small wave reefy

Atmosphere:
atmosphere is pretty quiet but the sea gulls are a nuicance.is good for a swim or a snorkel when there is no swell and there is a lot of fish because the whole island is a nature and marine reserve

Additional Info:
leave your car on the mainland and the walk isnt too bad across the sand bar.the takeoff peak is small and you tend to go behind the peak so crowding can get bad. Needs high tide on all swells.consistant when everywhere else is flat.
Cant hold more than a 2m swell. Biggest it can get is chest maybe shoulder high on a super high
tide. Very fickle.

go to rockingham and head south untill you get to safety bay.on the corner of the point there is a cafe and a carpark.leave your car here and there is a sandbar that you walk across to pengiun island,once there take the path over to the back of the island and the break is right in front.
