About

Great wave, and in the summer enought light to keep surfing all through the night. Campsite in the village right over the beach with friendly pub makes it perfect for a surf trip. Crowds haven't been invented here yet.

Additional Info:
Beach break between rocks in main part of bay, good wave for all level surfers. Better right hander at east end of bay, fast and hollow, not for beginners.

Location

Access

Park at Durness tourist information office. Head down the wooden steps for the beach break, or walk right along the coast road and down the sand dune for the right hander.
