Dropping into a big peak at Stent has been a defining moment in the education of every surfer who has paddled out.
Atmosphere:
One of New Zealand's premier spots. Now very well known, rather well worn and still well surfed by keen locals and a relentless stream of 'out of towners' It wasn't like that 30 something years ago. Nigel didn't find it - Walshy and I did!
