Exit Trinidad exit about 11 miles from Arcata coming from south towards north. Make left under highway, pass through quaint town of Trinidad, gonna make "S" curve, right then left, next big curve to right takes you down to a public access(free) parking area. Park, then walk towards the rock that looks like a buddha statue, enter water there and to the right facing the water to avoid getting your arse kicked on the paddle out!
