Windorgel-Vlissingen
Edit SpotAbout
I used to surf there many years ago, nobody would be out there. I have heard lately more people surf there. You have beautiful dunes on one side and you can see the town on the other side. Sometimes these gigantic ocean freighters pass close by. Sometimes people on the beach in summer time get washed away by big waves created by there freighters!
Additional Info:
Not many tips to give, the spot only works when there has been northern storms over the Nord Sea for some period. It's protected from northern winds and only works when there is big wind and big seas. When it works it is pretty good, many locals form other spots in the northern parts of Holland go there.

Get tranport to Vlissingen, which is situated in the province of Zeeland. Go to the so-called "Boulevard". Walk along this "Boulevard" all the way along the beach to the most western end. Walk towards the wind-chime and a bunker from the second world war which also acts as accomodation for German tourists. It says " Zimmer Frei". if you stand there look below down the dike, towards the west, and there must be the wave.
