Elephant Rock

Edit Spot
About

Great surf with a relaxed laid back attitude at 1/4 the crowd of snapper.

Atmosphere:
This spot has a really relaxed atmosphere and you will probably end up chattin with another surfer. but in march the pilcheds head north and the sharks followed i was down there in march this year and there were 8 schools of pilcheds went through and when i got home i saw i tv that there were actually tiger sharks chasin then but ive never seen a shark out there.

Additional Info:
If it is going to be a kind tide avoid parking on the beach side of the car park or ya car will get wet. Really fun rippable wave but if u go on the alley side close to elephant rock the waves are hard to catch because there is a gutter strait after the wave breaks and causes the wave to die but if u can stay on it reforms again. Nice sand banks all the way down the Collangatta side of the rock.
