Mini Cloudbreak
Edit SpotAbout
When it all lines up 300m+ barrels, when I was there they were dropping up at the top of the break which don't work that well in the south easterly, just paddle down where the wave goes around a bend then it streches on for ages. You can see from my photo the top of the reef behind the peak.
Atmosphere:
Heavy as fifty bastards. Atmoshphere made by whoever comes on the boat with you. Big kudos to those who go deep and pull in for they are brave souls and deserve the first bowl of kava at the end of the day. This break put me in surgery and I saw a fair amount of skin lost too from comrades. Do not surf at low tide unless you have a deathwish.
Additional Info:
Shallow, shallow, sharp coral. Chainmail recommended.
Needs a little bit of swell to get going, can be surfed all tides and work in a south easterly which is blowing for about 70% of the year in Fiji.
