About

Can get really good. Local surf cams tend to focus on the southern part of Del Mar Rivermouth (probably for a reason): south Rivermouth can be almost flat, while PWP is firing and vice-versa.

Atmosphere:
Friendly on the weekdays but sometimes surly on the weekends. Surliness generated from "locals" that aren't around during the week (i.e., 15 minute locals/overworked professionals).

Additional Info:
Park your car on the road or better yet park on Cedros Ave. at Via de la Valle and walk. Line up with the cliff edge/ life guard tower/ race track tower for the right. Lefts are rare and tend to take one over the shallow rock closeout sections. Often does a good Indonesia impression in the fall with makeable barrels. Make sure and smile because stinkeye abounds with the "locals" (Yankees fresh from Jersey/Orange County/LA). Take a shower ASAP...Dog poop abounds.
