Don't park your car in the hotel ot, park it somewhere else and walk. The reef can hold big swells,along with pumphouse Florida's only big wave spots.

The Ramada Hotel is the first oceanside hotel south of Perkins. Don't park in its lot, or you'll be calling a cab to get home. Surfers use the large Publix parking lot across A1A. Cross at the light and walk over the public beach access wedged between the Ramada and a condominium. A narrow beach gives way to a rock shelf in the shorebreak.
