Samson's Bak
Edit SpotAbout
Watch out for the rocks.
Atmosphere:
Big open barrels here. Long ride. Loads of kelp around.
Additional Info:
Named breaks in the area are Sampsons Bak, a powerful right-hand point break that delivers some epic waves when conditions are right: a solid 6-8' groundswell, light offshore and pushing tide. Kelpy and cold. Full steamers a necessity. A heavy spot, gets super shallow and hairy at sections.
